LEAK DETECTION

If you have received an unusually high water bill or have noticed anything unusual in your water usage, please complete a water leak test as soon as possible.

GENERAL TEST

1. Turn off all taps and water-using devices at the property (including reticulation, evaporative air conditioning etc)

2. Write down the black and red numbers of the meter

3. If the dial is not visibly moving, wait for at least 2 hours (the longer the better as small leaks may take longer to show). Do not use ANY water in this time including flushing the toilet.

4. Write down the black and red numbers of the meter. Have the numbers changed?

RETICULATION TEST

1. Turn off all taps and water-using devices at the property (including reticulation, evaporative air conditioning etc)

2. Write down the black and red numbers of the meter

3. Run the system once, for all stations, for the set time

4. Write down the black and red numbers of the meter. Have the numbers changed?

5. What days is the reticulation set for?

6. How many stations are there?

7.  How many minutes is each station set to run for?
